The European city was named the most peaceful place to live in the world
It is noted that the title of the most peaceful place to live in the world went to the Dutch city of Eindhoven. Covering 10 km takes just 14 minutes and 37 seconds, and the city boasts low annual average air pollution. Coupled with good scores on the crime, cost of living and healthcare indexes, the city has a very low stress rating of just 2.34 out of 10.
Interestingly, located in the south of the Netherlands, Eindhoven is not as popular as other Dutch cities such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam, which probably contributes to its relaxed atmosphere. However, it is a recognized center of design, industry and art, and soon a second branch of the world-famous Rijksmuseum will open here.
